Frequently Asked Questions

• When do you changeover?

Changeover is on a Saturday. Guests are asked to vacate by 10.00 a.m. on morning of departure and new guests arrive after 4.00 p.m.

• Do you provide bedding and towels?

All linen and bedding is provided (with the exception of sheets and blankets for the cot). Guests are required to provide their own towels.

• What facilities do you have for babies and children?

A high chair, cot and baby bath are all available on request.

• Is the property suitable for someone who has difficulty with stairs?

Stairs in Parklands are both shallow and wide. The B&B facility is located on the ground floor and is totally flat.

• What about parking?

A large gravel parking area is located immediately outside the properties providing ample parking for several cars. Room for boats. 

• Can we bring our pets?

Unfortunately, due to bad experiences, we can no longer accept pets in the property.

• Do you have laundry facilities?

A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided downstairs in the laundry.

• What animals do you have on the farm?

Currently there are home reared suckling herd of twenty five running with a stock bull with calves at foot. 10 replacement heifers, ducks, chickens and three farm dogs. The farm also has some amazing wildlife including a variety of birds such as buzzards, deer, foxes and badgers.

• Is there room to store equipment?

Yes there is safe storage in an outbuilding.
